Overview
The Home Page organizes all of the most commonly-used actions in a singular interface so that you can dive into using Preset with minimal need for navigation. Content areas are organized into four different panels:
- Recents Panel
- Dashboards Panel
- Charts Panel
- Saved Queries Panel
Please have a look at the descriptions below to learn more about these content areas and how you can use them to quickly access the Preset functionality that you need!
Interface
Switch Views
By default, visualizations are displayed as thumbnails. You can switch to a card view, though, by disabling the Thumbnails switch.
This is the card view:
Recents Panel
The Recents panel features all content that you have edited or created. This provides an easy way to quickly resume work from where you last left off by simply selecting the appropriate card.
Note that each card includes "Modified" entry conveying when the dashboard, chart, or saved query was last changed.
Features include:
Expand / Collapse
Select the down arrow on the Recents header to collapse the content. Conversely, select the right arrow to expand content.
Tabs
- Viewed: Displays a list of recently viewed dashboards, charts, and/or saved queries.
- Edited: Displays a list of recently edited dashboards, charts, and/or saved queries.
- Created: Displays a list of recently created dashboards, charts, and/or saved queries.
